New York Harvest Cellars

Thank you for your interest in New York Harvest Cellars, and in "Liberty Red", a celebration of our agricultural and cultural heritage.

Premiere Release Liberty Red is a limited edition wine, of which 89 cases were produced. Principals Margot & Rich Cirino collaborated with the most talented members of New York's wine producing community to create Liberty Red:

Dick & Betty Reno, owners of Chateau LaFayette Reneau;
Tim Miller, master winemaker;
Jim & Eric Hazlitt, owners of Sawmill Creek Vineyard;
Frankie Flores artist and gallery owner.

The centerpiece of our label, "Liberty", by Frankie Flores speaks for itself. Margot and I first met Frankie Flores in 2002 at an open house for Crimson Gallery. Flores impressed us with his artistic vision and marketing savvy. When we first saw "Liberty", we knew we had found the image to express our Cabernet Franc's unique identity.

Liberty is more than a visual powerhouse. She competed in three 2004 competitions, earning medals in all. Silver at Tasters' Guild International, Silver at the Eastern International and Best Cabernet Franc at the Seneca Lake Whale Watch.
